The National Youth Awards, an initiative of the Ministry of Youth Development and National Service, celebrates youth in our country for their dedication towards activism, academia, and innovation in business, agriculture, sport and other social issues. Nominations for the National Youth Awards will close on Thursday 17th August, 2023.
Members of the public are encouraged to nominate individuals or groups who have positively impacted their community or the wider Trinidad and Tobago. Nominations for the National Youth Awards was opened on Wednesday 19th July, 2023, revealing 27 award categories this year. Nomination forms must be submitted online via www.mydns.gov.tt. Nominators are encouraged to contact the National Youth Awards hotline at 612-9367 if they need assistance to complete the nomination forms.
Nominees must be citizens of Trinidad and Tobago and must be between the ages of 10 and 35 years (with the exception of Youth Mentor Award and Corporate Award nominees). Persons who have won a National Youth Award within the last five (5) years (2018-2022) are not eligible for nomination.
